Public Sector Support

The Centre has significant experience of working with the public sector to help organisations better understand the implications of implementing AIDC technologies in areas as diverse as education, health and transport.

Current projects include:

• A research grant by the UK Government-supported Technology Strategy Board to research a new system to allow users with disabilities improved access to public service information.
• Work with the UK Regional Efficiency and Improvement Projects (REIP) on the wider benefits of implementing intelligent communities.
• Partnership with a major UK Development Agency to run a comprehensive series of networks promoting AIDC technology to businesses in the area.
