Innovation Vouchers

AIDC (UK) Ltd is proud to have been accredited by Business Link as a supplier under their Innovation Voucher scheme. Funded by Yorkshire Forward and the European Regional Development Fund, Innovation Vouchers provide small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) in the region, with financial support to engage with Yorkshire's universities and other academic institutions to help their business grow and develop. Vouchers up to the value of £3000 can be redeemed to fund the cost of this practical knowledge and expertise.

The process is very straightforward.  A company simply downloads the application form from the Business Link website and completes the form with details of the innovation project they wish to complete.  To qualify as an innovation project, the work does not necessarily need to be rocket science, but it does need to be something new for the company.  The company sends the completed form to Business Link.  Every month, Business Link will allocate 50 Innovation Vouchers.  If more than 50 companies apply, then Business Link will give priority to companies that have not previously applied for the vouchers.  Business Link will then inform the company that they have received a voucher.  The company can then select a supplier for the work from the Business Link register of accredited suppliers.  the supplier carries out the work to the company's satisfaction and sends their invoice in as normal.  The company pays the suppliers invoice and then claims back up to £3,000 from Business Link (excluding VAT which is reclaimed in the normal way).

AIDC can help companies through this process with details of when Business Link are due to allocate vouchers.  We can also help complete the forms.
